About our Executive Directors
BRIAN GATEHOUSE
Brian Gatehouse is Operational Director EPC and brings to us a great deal of hands on experience and expertise from a range of industries, not least of all the construction industry. Brian studied management at various institutions including the University of Kent later joining the us in 2001. His role of project manager is varied seeing the construction process through from the first spade in the ground to handing over the building. He lives in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales where he is restoring an 18th century cottage in his spare time.
TERRY HILL
Terry Hill is Sustainability Director and our man at the 'sustainable coalface'. His passion for building started when he was 11 when he helped his father to re-build an old welsh cottage. After leaving school he went on to get a City & Guilds certification in bricklaying, and later on became City & Guilds qualified for potable water quality & water storage in the water industry. Terry has worked in many and varied roles within the construction industry and brings a wealth of hands on experience - including running his own steel erection company. Terry’s current project is building the UK’s first heavy weight ‘passivhaus’ office building.
MIKE WALLACE
Mike Wallace is Property Director for WCR Property Ltd. He graduated in 1989 with a Geography Degree from Portsmouth. With many years of experience in the property sector, Mike brings a great deal of know how to the group. Whilst working for Cooke and Arkwright Mike studied for a Surveying Diploma, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994. Mike joined DTZ in 1994 where he specialised in Office sales, lettings and Development advice, and was promoted to Associate Director. In 1998 he was appointed Chairman for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Matrix Organisation. He joined us in 2001 to oversee the development, sale/purchase and letting of the property portfolio. A family man, he is a marathon runner and a keen all round sportsman.
